Emma, Unfortunately if you live in Phoenix the Salvation Army has a set time limit that they use to avoid helping people or I should say taking on families at the last minute in case noone is willing to help out. Families such as mine. As for the churches in the neighborhood good luck, even they are telling me that they have too many families that attend their churches for them to help out my two kids. Good luck in your search and hopefully you don't live in Phoenix, Az.
Thanks for all of the great listings for help. I know that I'll be contacting a few of them. God bless you and yours! Cindy
Hi Wizard, Would like to say thank you for your site. Whether it works for me or not I can appreciate the fact that it has worked for others probably worse off than me and my two kids this holiday season. That's what we were put on this earth to do and it is to help others when in need of help. I don't really expect anything to come my way in means of assistance to get my kids a christmas gift or two but I'm hoping their dissappointment will eventually turn to the realization that they've had it good all of these years and that there are other kids out their that have never received even the smallest gift for Christmas for their entire lives. If by some miracle we do receive help I will of course be eternally grateful to the person responsible, but if my needs aren't quite bad enough to tug any heart strings I will still be grateful for the people that were able to be helped. Thanks for your time and Merry Christmas in advance. Sincerely, Cinny firstname.lastname@example.org
